Ever since the inception of AVTAR in 2000, our beloved APPA (Shri. M.S.Chandrasekar, Father of Mrs. Saundarya Rajesh), has been our constant source of support, inspiration and strength. Using his inimitable combination of true love, humour and a crystal clear vision of what a value-based organization like AVTAR should achieve, APPA stood by us during every moment – high and low. During AVTAR’s 10th Anniversary celebration, he travelled to Chennai in spite of very poor health, to be with us and bless us. He foresaw a glorious future not just for AVTAR, but for each AVTARite (a term first coined by him in December 2001). His favourite blessing to us was “Vetri, Vetri, Vetri!” (Tamil for Success, Success, Success!). He instilled in us a need to be more than just a commercial enterprise, but a community of like-minded, inspired men and women, moving towards a goal that encompassed individual development along with national growth. It is an amazing coincidence that he was born on 15th August and departed on 26th January. APPA, while you are no longer with us in your physical form, it is your guiding principles and life values that are our charter for the years ahead. We shall build AVTAR into a unique, highly committed and successful organization which will work towards great progress for ALL. We shall make your dreams for us come true, APPA. Dear Sir- I feel so sad-it hurts to know that you are not going to be with us any more-I have not been to India for a very long time, its been 14 years now- I should have at least come to see you- I still remember all the discussions we had in the verandah of your house about marketing activities of Ambrosa in Kerala and Andhra-I always remember your happy and smiling face-I admired your cheerful nature and your commitment to help others- YOU ARE A TRUE LEGEND-I am going to miss you SIR all my life-It is hard to believe that I will never see you again- may God grant eternal peace to you- With ever lasting love -Suresh
